The grim 'Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre' (1937-1938) focuses on the Nanjing Massacre, also known as "The Rape of Nanjing" in which an estimated 300,000 Chinese victims were horrifically brutalized by invading Japanese barbarians. Within the hall is artwork, statues, pictures, and audio and video documents. Highly harrowing but also highly recommended. Free admission.
