Yea I have to say that Jimmy's is well up there for shootin' the s***. Good selection of booze, food is grand and and the regulars are a decent crowd of heads.
And of course you have the main draw of the place - Jimmy himself. A local legend. Definitely worth a visit.

Totally agreed! Jimmy's is like a family. But if you're new in town, it's definitely an awesome place to meet new people and enjoy the expat community of Nanjing.

Well i am not really on the objective side as Jimmy's is my second home. :-) A conveniant 15 min walk away from my appartment and the closest to the "good old honest bar" thing i've seen in Nanjing.

Jimmy's no artificial lounge place, booze with tea club, or phillipino music place. Its more like hangin out with friends (well lots of friends and even more during the weekend) in your livingroom, watchin Sports or chattin about useless topics.

The quality of the food is above the average Nanjing Bar food level and the beers are chilly. It is also a good place if you're new in town as Jimmy's got a lot of regulars that can tell you about High- and Lowlights in this city.

Well, if you expect to be pampered by chinese girls in short skirts all night this is maybe not the ideal place for you but if you're looking for that comfortable neighbourhood bar feeling...you will be fine.

If you are just passing through and you have some time to kill, this is a good place to go. Eat some food, drink some beers, enjoy some conversations. It is very easy to do here.
