With out a doubt the most professionally managed bar in the city,
It’s not expensive, if you consider the experience you get when you are there.

Booze is the best you will find in town, entertainment soundings and menu are authentic with is hard to find here

Best bar in Nanjing

I guess every new place go through the same process, get to know the market, the people, what they want and how they want it takes a lot of time and effort. I have seen Finnegans Wake from the very beggining and I can assure that nobody in Nanjing would pay attention to details like the guys in Finnegans do it.

Like a good Whisky, the older the better.

Finnegans Wake is now one of those places that you have to visit if you are in Nanjing living or passing by.

Finnegans is really starting to grow on me. I wasn't mad about it at the beginning (no atmosphere and a bit out of the way) but lately it is really picking up. Also, it has to be the warmest bar/place in Nanjing in these winter months...I love it. It's a nice change from freezing ur ass off in many places around town.

Actually，Finnegans is not that expensive. I thought it was at the beginning but it's only expensive when you drink Guinness and cider and stuff. I had some really good gin & tonics there and they cost only 35kuai. Plus they have some really strong cocktails that are strong and cheap:)
But my husband drinks Guinness:(

I walked here from Xinjiekou the other night, it wasn't far, took about 20 minutes.

The cider is good, but a bit expensive. But 2 strongbows is way too sweet. I usually buy a cider, then a Guiness/Kilkenny (depending on my mood) and finish off with a cheap Carlsberg.

Nice place, but it's quite expensive, for non-CEO types.
