I would like to check out the local flea market if there is one.
I found "street markets" that mostly (if not exclusively) sell new stuff. I am looking for used, old, vintage possessions. Can anyone direct me to a place like that? Thanks |

Thanks Stone City antique market is a huge outdoor/indoor space along the riverside selling vintage antiques, old posters, Mao-era knick-knacks, etc every Sat. and Sun. www.hellonanjing.net/iluv-nanjing/nanjin...e-markets-in-nanjing |

You may go to Confucius Temple to have a look,Or you can search what you need on www.taobao.com, type in like" 毛泽东,旧海报“ (that means Mao Ze Dong, old poster), I'm sure you'll find something. But in the second case, you may be required to open an online bank account. So my suggestion is try to find a local seller (of Nanjing of course) on taobao, so you may contact him and trade directly.

There is a secondhand market near New City Mall on Longpan Lu. I think they mainly sell electrical products though. Not sure about vintage stuff. Send me a pm if u need specific directions.
