Well I think this is very damned cool.
The disappointment of seeing your digital pictures blown up in all their blurry glory will be consigned to the history books with the launch of a new focus-less digital camera.

The Lytro will let photographers snap the scene and then choose what to focus on, via their computer, after taking the picture.

Click on the link, they've got actual examples on there where you can change the focus points on pictures. Veeery cool.

I wonder what impact this is going to have on pro photographers, if hack amateurs like myself can suddenly make stunning compositions with the click of a button?
