Maybe not just in Britain this is happening?
One in 10 Britons often feel isolated and half think that people are getting lonelier in general, according to research released by the Mental Health Foundation. More people are living alone than ever with the percentage of households occupied by one person doubling from 6 per cent in 1972 to 12 per cent in 2008. Researchers believe that part of the cause is people |

I never feel lonely here, I have a wife and her Chinese family and friends and all my mates here in Nanjing. If I ever start to feel a bit bored of an evening, I'll just pop out to somewhere I know I'm bound to run into someone I know, like Jimmy's. I feel the 'Cheers' theme tune coming on...

The Irish Mental Health Association have just been granted another 2.8 million Euros to continue their research, which has been running since 1984 and covering the whole of the poulation, and the results to date show that 10 in 1 Irish people can't fit into an apartment on their own.
